About Me
My journey as a medical writer began during my PhD in genetics when I discovered my passion for using effective communication to bridge the gap between scientific researchers and the general public. Over the past five years, I've dedicated myself to medical writing, collaborating with academics, healthcare professionals, and biotech/biopharma companies to convey complex messages in a way that resonates with their target audiences.
Experiencing healthcare firsthand during my first pregnancy underscored the need for better communication between healthcare professionals and patients. Research indicates that effective communication leads to improved relationships, fosters trust, and results in better outcomes. However, this relationship often feels confrontational rather than collaborative.
To address this challenge, I've made it my mission to enhance the relationship between patients and healthcare providers by creating audience-centered medical content. By focusing on clear and empathetic communication, I aim to transform these interactions into true collaborations, ultimately leading to better healthcare outcomes for all.
